Champion's Journey
Based in the Young Adult Lodge, this weeklong program for participants aged 16–17 provides the opportunity to develop leadership skills, self-reliance, positive communication and teamwork as they become “Champions of their future.”
Participants are challenged to step outside comfort zones with team building initiatives and an individual Camp "mastery project" focused in a single Camp program area, based on their top choices. Champions learn safety procedures and the fundamentals of their program before brainstorming and planning their “mastery project”. Through their experiences, they will learn about themselves and their peers as they experience success and accomplishments while building community and connection through shared experiences.
