Fall Weekend Programs
Volunteer Family Pals
Our Family Weekends offer our campers an opportunity to bring their siblings, parents, and caregivers to Camp. Together, they get a chance to bond, unwind, and experience all that Camp has to offer. As a Volunteer Family Pal, you are assigned to a family for the weekend and able to share in the experience. Alongside our amazing crew of returning volunteers, you will work to get to know your family, show them around Camp, and to see that their weekend is as fun and fulfilling as possible. New volunteers - All weekends are now at or close to capacity, so we have begun directing new applicants to our 2018 Spring Weekends - Follow this link to apply. Returning volunteers - Most weekends are at or close to capacity, so active waitlists are being created - Follow this link to register.
Medical Volunteers work alongside our Medical Staff to provide routine and acute care to our campers. We need licensed physicians, nurses, and nurse practitioners, both specialists and general medicine practitioners who can share their medical/clinical expertise with us to create a safe and fun environment. Pediatric experience is preferred. We guarantee this will be a life-changing experience, just as it is for the children who attend Camp. These spots are currently full, any questions or to be put on the waitlist please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Check back in January for our Spring Weekends!
Hero's Quest Volunteers
Our "Hero's Quest" (HQ) Weekend programs offer our 16 year-old participants an opportunity to connect with friends from our Summer Hero's Journey (HJ) sessions and continue building their skills. As an HQ volunteer, you will help our full-time staff facilitate activities and strengthen connections both "up top" and down at Base Camp. Volunteering at an HQ weekend is a great way to gain exposure to our Hero's programming and could set the stage for a summer volunteering at HJ. Returning Volunteers - Follow this link to register.
