In its brief five-year history, the event has raised more than $150,000, awarded in the form of scholarships to local graduates, donations to the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Bruins Foundation and the Cape Cod Junior Golf Association.

The ride begins in Norfolk, Connecticut’s Northwest corner, where teams bike 85 miles to The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp in Ashford, CT, founded in 1988 by actor Paul Newman to serve children with cancer, sickle cell anemia and other life-threatening illnesses.
