“Who is eligible for CampOut? ”
Any child 17 years or younger who has attended The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp in Ashford, Conn. at least once either during a summer session or family weekend.
“What is a regional event?”
Regional events are fun activities that blend the spirit of Camp with new experiences such as classes, outings, museums, scavenger hunts and much more. All regional events are family friendly and designed to connect camper families with other Camp families outside of the hospital setting.
“Does a parent or caregiver need to be present at a regional event?”
“Are siblings and other family members welcome to attend regional events?”
Yes. All regional events are family friendly and open to campers’ immediate family members.
“Where can I find a schedule of events? ”
“Who are the CampOut staff?”
We have two CampOut teams - one in Connecticut who serves Connecticut and north, and the other in New York City who serves New York and south. Each team has three awesome staff members - a regional manager and two specialists - who plan and facilitate each CampOut home visit and regional event alongside a team of fantastic Camp volunteers.
