Hundreds of AngelRide Cyclists Ride Across Connecticut for Paul Newman’s Hole in the Wall Gang Camp

New Haven, Connecticut – There’s nothing to compare to the sight of hundreds of cyclists riding for a good cause. This Memorial Day weekend, hundreds of cyclists from serious athletes to six-year-old kids will ride in the 8th annual AngelRide across Connecticut to support seriously ill hospitalized children through The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp. The ride starts in Norfolk in Connecticut’s northwest corner on Saturday, May 28, overnights in Ashford at the legendary camp Paul Newman founded for children with cancer, sickle cell anemia and other life-threatening illnesses, and resumes Sunday, May 29 to the finish in the historic coastal village of Mystic. Each adult AngelRider commits to raising funds to benefit the Camp’s Hospital Outreach Program that brings hope and healing to children with serious illnesses in hospitals across the northeast. More than 50 children will take part in the Youth Ride on the second day from Jewett City to Mystic.
