Home to crabs and the very best sunrises, the Wye River provides a gorgeous backdrop to all of the Maryland location magic. On the shores of the river, families will find relaxation and yard games, meet Wyatt the Duck, and discover the magic of Camp.
As you turn onto Aspen Drive, you are treated to your first glimpse of Camp’s new location. From the majestic Lob Lolly pine forest to the famous Wye Angus cows, your journey down this peaceful path sets the stage for all the beauty, relaxation and healing that lie ahead.
Welcoming campers, volunteers and all visitors to the Maryland location with a colorful mural, the River House is the hub of activities. Whether dancing after meals, dreaming up creative projects or shining on stage, campers and families find anything is possible within these walls.
With 12 cozy rooms and an inviting shared space complete with a library, the Inn serves as a home away from home for families attending Camp programs. Perfect to unwind with the family after a busy day or connect with old and new friends alike, it boasts multiple fully accessible spaces so all can enjoy.
Tucked behind the River House, the pool is the perfect place to make a splash. Campers and families get to enjoy cooling off poolside during Family Camps in the summer and fall when the weather is warm.
Just a short hop up the road from the Inn and River House, Archery is the perfect spot to discover all you are capable of. Campers of all ages and abilities are welcome to aim for a bullseye thanks to special bows and built-in shelves to help hold and position for the perfect shot.
What will we make today? This creative zone is home to a Toybox 3D printer, hammers, beads and every supply campers and family members need to craft up a creation to take home filled with memories of their time at Camp.
Located on the lower floor of the River House, this room is part stage, part music studio, part pasture! Inspired by nature and our moo-velous neighbors, the theater is filled with plush seating and cows to cuddle or cheer on performers on center stage.
Grab a seat and relax on the partially covered patio to view the scenic Wye River, tend to some plants in the garden boxes or doodle a chalk creation on the paver stones.
With bright colors and nature-inspired murals, the infirmary doesn’t feel the least bit medical. But don’t let that fool you – with a spacious pharmacy, and three overnight treatment rooms, the space is equipped to handle a variety of complex medical challenges.
With hundreds of acres of woodlands and nature making up the Maryland Location, wagon rides are the perfect way for families to explore. Grab a pair of binoculars and get ready to spot bald eagles and other wildlife while singing a few songs and enjoying a ride in the covered wagon.
