Running in the fall and spring at our facility in Ashford, weekend programs continue the healing power of Camp beyond the summer months and create a memorable experience for the entire family. Families share in Camp activities and enjoy the company of other families who understand the issues they are facing.

Weekend Program Story
I could not let this week go by without writing this letter to you and your staff to thank all of you for giving me and my family the best weekend of our lives, which also happened to be the first time we were all together, except for my three-month old baby, at the same time having nothing but pure fun.
I used to think that unless someone has a child, in my case two, with sickle cell anemia, he/she would never understand what I personally go through with every crisis, every hospitalization and every phone call from school for an unplanned pick-up. This past weekend that you and a staff of the best people who I have ever met and encountered in my life just gave me and my family, proved me wrong. There are people out there who not only know, but also understand what parents like me go through and are doing their best to lessen our burdens and stress.
