Gifts of Stock

Gifts of securities are a great way to support The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp while providing you with a tax deduction for the current, full market value of the securities. There are three main types of securities that can be donated to The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp:

• Publicly traded stock in a corporation
• Shares in a mutual fund
• Bonds

If you have appreciated securities that have been held for more than 12 months you can donate them in one of the following ways:

• Securities may be transferred directly to The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp by your broker. If you are interested please contact James Takami, Chief Financial Officer, at (203) 772.0522 or via email.
• Unendorsed stock certificates should be mailed directly to The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp’s fund office by registered mail with a letter stating the purpose of the gift. A signed stock power should be sent under separate cover with a copy of the transmittal letter. The address is:
