Donor Privacy
The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp is committed to respecting the privacy of our donors. We have developed this privacy policy to ensure our donor information is protected and will not be shared with any third party. All information concerning donors or prospective donors, including their addresses, email addresses and phone numbers, the names of their beneficiaries, etc., shall be kept strictly confidential by The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, our staff, and volunteers, unless permission is obtained from donors to release such information. It is our policy to never share or sell the names, addresses, phone numbers or email addresses of our donors.
The types of donor information that The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp collects and maintains includes:
- Contact information: name, address, telephone number, and email address
- Giving information
- Information on events attended, publications received, and special requests for program information
- Information provided by the donor in the form of comments and suggestions
The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp uses donors’ information to understand our donors’ interests in The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp’s mission and to provide updates on the organization’s plans and activities. It is shared internally only on a “need-to-know” basis.
When a donor makes a contribution to The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp using a credit card, the credit card information provided by the donor is stored in a confidential manner. The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp employees may access such information only when there is an appropriate reason to do so, such as when a refund must be issued back to the credit card. The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp maintains safeguards to protect donor credit card information, and our employees are required to follow these privacy standards.
It is our desire to not send unwanted mail to our donors, and we can be contacted to remove donors from our mailing list. We do publish an Annual Report with donor listings under giving categories. If a donor wishes to remain anonymous, they can contact us to do so.

We do not collect personally identifying information about you when you visit our site, unless you choose to provide such information to us. Providing such information is strictly voluntary. This policy is your guide to how we will handle information we learn about you from your visit to our website.

Online Profile Updates and Donations
If you complete the Profile update form and share your personally identifying information, this information will be used only to provide you with more targeted content. We may use your contact information to send further information about our organization or to contact you when necessary. You may always opt-out of receiving future mailings; see the "Opt Out" section below.
Children and Privacy
For children who visit our site, special rules apply. We do not request personal information about children, such as first and last name or street address and city. When children send an e-mail to us, their online contact information (e-mail address) is not used to re-contact them and is not maintained in a retrievable form.
Camper and Staff & Volunteer Online Applications
The Hole In The Wall Gang Camp is dedicated to protecting the privacy of our campers, staff and volunteers. The information gathered through the Camper and Staff Volunteer Online Applications is for The Hole In The Wall Gang Camp's internal admissions, hiring process and medical review only. Content and information gathered on this site will not be shared with any third parties unless permission is granted.
E-mail addresses provided through this process will only be used for sending back to you a PDF attachment of the completed portions of the application. Your e-mail address will remain private and will not be shared with outside third parties or solicitors.

If you would like to publish information that you find on our website, please send your request via email. Text Message Communications
We use text messaging to communicate with donors, volunteers and service recipients. Normal messaging rates apply and the frequency of messages may vary. Mobile Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Opt-out of text message communications
You may opt-out of text messaging at any time by replying to any message with STOP or by contacting us at info@holeinthewallgang.org. This will end the communications from that particular phone number. You may continue to receive service-related and other non-marketing text messages from other phone numbers managed by The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, and you may opt out of those in a similar fashion.
Email Communications
You also may decide to send us personally identifying information, for example, in an electronic mail message containing a question or comment, or by filling out a Web form that provides us this information. We use personally identifying information from e-mail primarily to respond to your requests. We may forward your e-mail to other employees who are better able to answer your questions.
