General Function

The Seasonal Grounds Assistant assists with the landscaping duties of the facilities and grounds areas as assigned by the Lead Groundskeeper.

The Seasonal Housekeeping Assistant assists with the cleanliness of all Hole in the Wall Gang Camp buildings as assigned by the Lead Housekeeper.

Kitchen Positions

Kitchen Assistant

General Function

The kitchen assistant is responsible for assisting in the efficient operation of the kitchen by maintaining cleanliness standards through the operation of dishwashing equipment and sinks, polishing silverware, removing garbage, cleaning equipment, and work areas including the sweeping and mopping of floors to Camp standards and COVID-19 protocols. The kitchen assistant will also assist in the preparation of food.

Prep Cook

General Function

Cook and prepare a variety of food including meats, poultry, vegetables, sauces, stocks, breads, and desserts using a variety of equipment and utensils according to the daily prep list. Wash and clean tables and cooking equipment in accordance with state of Connecticut health department and Camp's COVID-19 protocols.

First Cook

General Function

Cook and prepare a variety of food including meats, poultry, vegetables, sauces, stocks, breads, and desserts using a variety of equipment and utensils according to the daily prep list. Wash and clean tables and cooking equipment in accordance with the state of Connecticut health department. Supervise kitchen staff in the absence of Food Director and Sous Chef. Must be Serve Safe certified.
