3rd Annual Miss Q's Campquest Walk
Where: Commerce Bank Field at Foley Stadium
WORCESTER, MA: On Sunday, April 28th, 2019, there will be a 5K walk to benefit The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp at Commerce Bank Field at Foley Stadium in Worcester in honor of longtime Worcester Public Schools teacher, Donna Quitadamo.
An elementary school teacher for 41 years, Miss Quitadamo spent 30 years working for the Worcester Public Schools. She shared her passion for Camp with many of her students and their families who became inspired to embark on various fundraisers and collected much needed items for Camp and the children that it serves.
“As an educator, I always wanted to teach my students how important it is to be a caring and productive citizen, being cognizant of the needs of others,” explains Miss Quitadamo. “While learning about Camp, my students displayed a great deal of empathy as they became aware of the challenges that other kids face. Most importantly, they realized their caring actions could make a difference. Now many of the students whose hearts were touched by Camp, are trying to touch the hearts of others by rallying community support for the 3rd annual CAMPQUEST.”
The 3rd Annual CAMPQUEST: A FUNraiser Walk to Benefit The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, is hosted by the Worcester Public Schools. The walk takes place on Sunday, April 28th, beginning at 10:00 am at Commerce Bank Field at Foley Stadium, 305 Chandler Street in Worcester. It is open to the public and the event will include music, raffles and entertainment.
