Hero’s Journey® Program

Hero's JourneyFor teens who have aged out of our summer camp program, we offer the Hero’s Journey® program. Located in the woods of Connecticut, this weeklong program teaches self-reliance, positive communication and teamwork through a variety of exciting challenges. The journey provides participants with opportunities to step outside comfort zones, discover more about themselves and become “the hero of their own story,”while building community and connection through shared experiences.

Camper Story

I was, and still am, blown away by the amount of information I was able to learn and retain about wilderness search and rescue and backpacking, and also how much I learned about myself during those days I spent in the woods. I do not think I could ever properly thank you or repay you all for what you have taught me, and the peace that the experience brought to me.

Campers sleep in a yurt and bathe in the river during the Hero’s Journey program.
