Annual Giving Societies

The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp Annual Giving Societies were established to celebrate the legacy of our visionary founder, Paul Newman, whose entrepreneurship for charity led to the creation of the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp. His relentless determination to do the most good through personal and corporate giving was an inspiration, rousing other individuals, corporations and organizations to follow suit.

With an unrestricted gift of $1,000 or more, you join a distinguished group of friends who ensure that seriously ill children and their families thrive in the exceptional programs of The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp each year, free of charge.

The Societies honor donors of unrestricted annual gifts to The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp at various levels. Each level honors the impact you can make and relates to iconic aspects of The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp and are recognized in our printed Annual Report.

Butch Cassidy Society – Annual Gifts of $25,000 or more

Butch Cassidy’s hat is a proud reflection of Paul Newman’s legacy of youthful spirit and loyalty. This is the leadership level and makes a profound impact on our Campers.

Sheriff’s Society – Annual Gifts of $10,000 - $24,999

The Sheriff’s Badge hangs prominently from our Arts and Crafts building in Camp’s downtown. At Camp, children’s dreams come true and imaginations flourish, shielded by our code of Safety, Love and Respect.

Cabin Circle Society – Annual Gifts of $5,000 - $9,999

The Cabin Circle is where Campers bond over shared joys, trials and victories, and lifetime friendships heal wounded spirits in the realization that they are no longer alone.

Bandit Society – Annual Gifts of $2,500 - $4,999

The infamous Bandit reminds us of the playful spirit of each child and the smile that is hidden behind the bandana. The giggles and shouts erupt once we pass through the Camp gate where “The Fun Starts Here.”

Sunflower Society – Annual Gifts of $1,000 - $2,499

The Sunflower, found throughout Camp, is a favorite flower of our Campers. It is the embodiment of each child growing and reaching new heights, unabashedly turning toward the sunshine and reclaiming childhood.
