On December 10, 1986 a Groundbreaking ceremony was held at Camp and the construction began. Camp opened in the summer of 1988, with 15 perfect little cabins in five units: Blue, Yellow, Red, White and Green! It wasn’t until a few years later that the White Unit became the Purple Unit.

Camp Fact: That figure represents the number of children who attend Camp’s signature summer sessions. Through its year-round programs, including its Hospital Outreach Program serving children in hospitals and other sites across the Northeast, Camp serves more than 20,000 children and families each year. Yup, that is a 2 with four 0’s!
