Who are the CampOut staff?

We have two CampOut teams - one in Connecticut who serves Connecticut and north, and the other in New York City who serves New York and south. Each team has three awesome staff members - a regional manager and two specialists - who plan and facilitate each CampOut home visit and regional event alongside a team of fantastic Camp volunteers.

What is a home visit?

Home visits are two-to-three hour programs tailored to the camper and his/her family, and are based on the family’s schedule with weekday, weeknight or weekend visits available. Each home visit will be facilitated by two CampOut staff and consist of age and developmentally appropriate activities, as well as a simple meal for the family. Home visits are designed to bring the fun and friendship of Camp to campers who are feeling isolated or struggling to make connections with their peers.
